Missa de Angelis
The Gregorian Mass known as the Missa de Angelis is believed to date from as early as the 9th century. It is a plainsong mass, designed to be sung in unison and a cappella.
Kyrie & Gloria: (Gloria begins at 2:37....we don't need to learn the Credo, although it is lovely!) Sanctus: Agnus Dei: |
Mass of St. Cecilia
We supplement the Gregorian mass parts with some English settings for the Alleluia, Mysterium Fidei and Amen.
Alleluia
Mysterium Fidei (Mystery of Faith): Amen: |
